Please note:

  • A minimum of 10 people per menu item and a 50% deposit is required.
  • The Veld Restaurant caters both Halaal & Kosher foods. We are not certified by any of these organisations, however we are mindful and respect all religious views, everyone is welcome.
  • All our meats are bought from Fairfield which is a Halaal butchery. Our grids are cleaned with hot water and soap.
  • Our freshly made greek salads are prepared 20 mins before they are served.
  • The idea is to enjoy the day and be comfortable.
  • It is very important for us to give you the absolute best in quality in food and service. We believe that the food & hospitality of our staff is what will be remembered most from your time at The Veld Restaurant.
  • The venue fee for our conference facilities is R1000 for the day and includes the sound and equipment. We have a white screen used for the projector and music if you require. Groups can bring their own drinks (cash bar closed ) till further notice busy to renew license. Great indoor and outdoor seating as well as braai facilities.We ask a corkage fee on any alcohol brought into the main lapa. The prices on corkage are on request and may vary depending on the size of your group.
  • Please be advised to book well in advance to avoid any disappointments. A 50% deposit is asked on large groups/Corporate bookings, this deposit secures your booking date. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable unless arranged otherwise with Melkbos 4×4. All group total/amounts have to be confirmed 48 hours before the booking, as we will cancel your booking date without a confirmed group amount. If you change the amount of people attending the function within this 48 hour period you will be charged accordingly.
